Buddhist monastics are renunciants, and do not handle money. It is only possible to live this way of life through the generosity of many supporters. Your support provides the four requisites of food, clothing, lodging, and medicines and allows the ongoing practice and sharing of the Dhamma.

Financial Support
Magge Vihara is in the process of incorporating as a non-profit organization but it cannot accept donations directly yet. Financial support sustains needs such as housing, transportation, and communications. You can offer electronically by Venmo (@junhavara) or PayPal (@junhavara). These are connected to an account that is managed by a financial steward on behalf of Ven. Junha and will be used directly for her needs.

Volunteer Support
Sharing your skills and time and energy is an invaluable contribution to the endeavor of a monastic vihara. Current needs include:
– Shopping support. Run errands for or with Ven Junha to assist with financial transactions that she does not engage in as a monastic. Once or twice per month, generally on a weekday.
Other contributions that would be appreciated include organizational/administrative skills, basic graphic design, website maintenance, and occasional use of a larger vehicle.
